Deciding To Seek Treatment
Making the decision to seek help is never an easy one, whether you are seeking services for yourself, a loved one, or a friend. There is no one-size-fits-all. For that reason, our patients' treatment experience is specifically tailored after a thorough admissions assessment, psychiatric evaluation, psychosocial assessment as well as a host of objective tests, and in addition to input from the treatment team, to determine the most appropriate plan depending on the presenting problem.
The Right Treatment Center
What makes Casa Palmera unique among treatment facilities is our all-inclusive approach to healing the body, mind and spirit. We treat the whole person. Whether a person is suffering from an eating disorder, drug and alcohol abuse, depression or some other
mood disorder, each of these can be devastating and, over time, simply exhausting.
Our holistic treatment approach, coupled with an outstanding clinical program, allows us
to partner with our patients and meet them 'where they are' to determine their psychical, nutritional, environmental, emotional, social, spiritual and lifestyle values upon admission. We offer a wide variety of different therapeutic treatment approaches and educational lectures to meet our patient's needs and to assist in their recovery.
Co-Occurring Conditions
Co-occurring disorders are complex and need to be addressed comprehensively. In many instances, the treatment approach is to treat one disorder, typically chemical dependency, and then begin to address the other clinical concerns, or we may, in fact, refer the patient
to another provider, once treatment for the primary diagnosis is complete. Casa Palmera treats all diagnosed disorders simultaeneously under one roof. The result is an intensive treatment approach to address a complex diagnosis at one facility.
Residential Treatment Setting
If you are seeking a confidential, residential treatment facility in a private, secluded location, Casa Palmera could be the right setting for you. We are frequently told that the physical environment alone sets the stage for peace, tranquility, self-reflection and provides a safe environment where healing can begin and balanced living restored. A positive environment is essential for healthy recovery. If you are suffering from addiction or a mood disorder, our quiet serene setting will put you on the path to recovery.
12-STEP PROGRAMS
Research and experience show that the 12-Step model is perhaps the most successful treatment model for those suffering from addiction.
First Three Steps of the Original Alcohol Anonymous 12-Step Program
1. We admitted we were powerless over alcohol-that our lives had become unmanageable
2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God, as we understood Him
