Hi I just read the top 10 celeberties with eating disorders and I too have been in treatment for six years for anarexia nervousa, I'm 16. but I also hate how people say well I used to have and ED, well they still do, and I also hate how people will say well she is not skinny enough to be anarexic it's like that has nothing to do with it. I whole heartedly agree with Christina.

Hi, my name is Christina. I am 18 years old and have been in treatment for anorexia for the past five years. I just read your 'top 10 celebs with eating disorders' and I have a question. How did Jessica Alba simply "used to" have an eating disorder? Eating disorders don't just go away over night, they are an addiction which a person deals with for their entire life. Also, eating disorders have absolutely nothing to do with wanting to be skinny. Just like drug addiction, eating disorders are an addiction a person develops for multiple different reasons. Eating disorders also have absolutely nothing to do with weight. So when you say "To this day she denies that she is dealing with an eating disorder, but with a little bit of research it’s not hard to see that a photo is worth a thousand words" you are simply going along with the Hollywood stereotype that every person with an eating disorder is extremely under weight. The truth is, most people who have eating disorders are at average weights. Please share your ideas with me when you receive this message. My email is ccasci@drew.edu Thank you! Sincerely, Christina
